On Friday the 15th of May we went to Kilninian Beach to do a sponsored beach clean. We were very busy collecting lots of rubbish. Thank you for all the kind donations that we received.
We got 16 bags with rubbish in it. I found a spoon and took a picture. I felt very good about it for the environment. Mairi, P3.
I found a part of a shoe. We got lots of bags. Oak, P2.
I enjoyed the beach clean and I found a bird ring. We also got more bags of litter than last year. We got 16 bags. When we got back we put in the numbers on the bird ring and we got a response a few days later. It was a shag, ringed on the Isle of Canna in 1990! Owen P7.
The beach clean was fun. We saw lots of rubbish stuck in rocks, but also we collected lots of rubbish. We collected 16 bags of rubbish and it was a nice day to do it! I felt good about doing something for the planet. Blue, P6.
We collected 16 bags of rubbish and I really liked helping the environment. There was a whole part along the tideline that was just plastic litter. Corynn, P5.
I enjoyed picking up all the rubbish and we got 16 bags. My teacher commented that I worked very hard all day. Tommy, P6.
