I had a balance bike, we were cycling around the willow dome and the playground. I enjoyed it.

I learnt how to make sure I could get on a bike safely. I liked cycling around the willow dome. I was practising starting and stopping safely. I liked working with Nicola because she went through all the instructions really clearly.

I liked it when we cycled around the willow dome on the grass. I learned about the pedal ready position which is up high. I had lots of fun learning about the different parts of the bike to check they were ok to use.

I enjoyed working with a partner when we were out on the road. It was fun communicating and it helped us remember which way to look, signal and turn. I learned how to do a u-turn.

It was good getting to go out onto the road with our bikes. I liked going for a longer cycle at the end. I learned how to be safe on the road, by doing things like signalling and looking hazards. I enjoyed working with Nicola the instructor because she explained things in an easy way to understand.
