Mia Leng from the Scottish Association for Marine Science came to talk to us about snow algae in Antarctica, satellites which scientists use to monitor climate change and how seaweed is helping to tackle climate change. There was also a lot of great chat about penguin poo and whale poo!
Mia was so informative and very impressed with the children’s knowledge about seaweed.
