At world book day we shared books and the classroom was transformed into a cozy place to read books. There was a tent, bean bags, blankets and cushions. My favourite thing was making an oragami book mark. Mine was a shark. Also we read a story around the campfire, the book was “The Wild Robot”. The teachers also shared some of their favourite books. I really enjoyed World Book Day because I got to dress up. I loved making the book marks and listening to The Wild Robot outside around the fire. Blue

I took my whale story book to school, my teachers read it to me. I liked making an origami bookmark with Mamma. In one story there was a worm and a slug in a sandwich, yuck!

At World Book Day we made origami bookmarks. We also did a book hunt which was my favorite. I also liked the story around the campfire. We had books read to us by all the teachers. Aoife

I enjoyed World Book Day because we had a lot of places to read. I loved how there was a lot of different types of interesting books all over. I think it was a really good idea to make our own bookmarks on World Book Day. It was an exciting activity and it was also related to books. I also loved the book scavenger hunt because it was exciting to find different types of books and it was a good break from sitting down reading all day. Eilidh
